2018 Falmouth Road Race Fundraiser
More than 11,000 runners gather in Woods Hole every August, some of them the world's elite competing in a showcase distance-running competition, some of them serious runners, some of them casual joggers.
For the ninth straight year, A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation fielded volunteers to raise funds for ALS-affected families and run the seven-mile course along Falmouth's beautiful coastline.
This year our eleven dedicated runners raised nearly $10,000 for the foundation BEFORE race day!
The Children's Programs focuses on easing some of the stresses faced by ALS-affected families with children by providing things like back-to-school and holiday gift cards and summer camp opportunities. Our runners are listed below and their fundraising pages remain open until September 30, so please consider clicking through to their fundraising pages and donating.
After the race, runners, family, and friends gathered on the patio at Dino's Sports Bar in Mashpee for a fun celebration.
