The Cliff Walk is our signature fundraising event, with funds raised supporting families affected by ALS throughout New England. If you have been personally touched by ALS, you know of the emotional, physical, and financial devastation the disease causes, so you know just how much difference the the ALS Family Charitable Foundation's unique support programs can make. Some of the ways we provide support are by funding respite care to allow caregivers to take crucial breaks, help pay utility bills, and assist with holiday and back-to-school expenses. We also assist with college scholarships, summer camp programs, and even dream vacations to help families make memories of a lifetime.
Thanks to our sponsors, donors, families and everyone who dedicated their time to support our cause our 2017 Cliff Walk raised over $210,000 for the fight against ALS. These funds support our In House Patient Programs, which are essential to our patients and their families living with ALS TODAY, and research headed by ALS Therapy Development Institute.
We are positive about the future of combating ALS with your help. The more funds we raise, the more families will benefit and have their needs met. Please continue to support our mission and ongoing fundraising as we strive to make our patients and families lives brighter today, and bring hope for tomorrow.
What our families say
"Thank you so much for your recent help with back to school shopping, the van repairs and our gas bill!" Words cannot express our gratitude for this help and for your ongoing love and support of our family! As you know, we have been living with ALS for many years. Sometimes it all overwhelms us, and the financial strain makes us feel even more helpless and hopeless. ALS Family has done so much over the years to ease our financial burdens and give us emotional support. You are a ray of light and a beacon of hope on an otherwise dark journey!" - Larry and Kathy
